In case you missed the big news this weekend let me inform you that Keith graduated Saturday From University of Arkansas. He graduated with a Masters of Science in Operations Management. He actually finished this past December but wouldn't walk until the Spring. It was a long drive to Fayetteville but it was worth it for him to have this memory! Let me rewind a bit to give you the background info. He started school in January 08 and the majority of his classes were done on the Internet which for the most part was good. Rylie was not even a year old when he started school. I went to being supplemental at the hospital which basically I was able to pick when I worked and how much I worked. (Yes it sounds good but its not always!) I needed to be flexible with his schedule and that is when I started working nights as well. It seemed like a good fit for us all. Their were times we had to have a sitter be with Rylie until Keith got home from classes. Later he was able to start Internet classes which he was very worried about because he had never taken them before and thought he wouldn't be disciplined enough for them. But he proved himself wrong and did exceptional at them! I am sure it became harder to pull himself away from family time when Rylie wanted to play with him and when Ethan came along. But he was dedicated to finishing this. His grades were great and finished a few weeks before Christmas. I am sooo proud of him! As Rylie started understanding what was going on at the graduation I think you could see that she was proud of him too!
Before the graduates are seated! I love the way the seats look so neat! It kinda made me want to move one to see it not so perfect.
There were a few speeches and most were short but we got a little bored!
Who doesn't like to make silly faces! He passed the time for Rylie and even me too!
Trying to touch her nose with her tongue! I believe instilling important values and special skills in my children!
Can't see Keith but he is there!
This day was even more special because we were able to celebrate it with my parents and Keith's parents! We all were so excited to see him graduate and be a part of this momentous day!
