Headed to another foster class in Corinth then a break for TWO weeks!! Yes! We both have enjoyed the extra time together and have probably talked more to each other these past 3 Saturday's than we have the month of January!
Our class last week was so helpful and can't wait to share some of my notes with you!
This week has been a little discouraging as our SW canceled for the second time for a home meeting. We are learning it's just the way the system works. They are overworked and are responsible for so much. We were told that MS is working on a team for licensing purposes only which will be so helpful to everyone involved. Might encourage more people to become foster parents as well. I just keep reminding myself of the purpose for all this. Even more so when I walk by "their" room. I know God has a purpose and I know what he has called us to do he will sustain us. It's just hard to be patient and try to work with a system that has a few holes in it.
Anyway just a few thoughts going on in my head this morning. Here is a picture to show just how happy we are to have one more class checked off!
