I wasn't sure about doing a new post since nothing really is happening. But didn't want anyone wondering what's up or lose interest in our blog. ☺️ I did however finally meet our social worker in person! Yay! We were getting ready to leave for Disney World the next day when she called needing all of our paper work ASAP. Apparently they have decided to use an outside agency to do the home studies of all the non relative applicants. Not sure if there are so many of us or the need is so high. Of course it could be both! Obviously I paused all my packing prep to make sure this appt went through. I quickly went home finished up a few things and had it ready to turn in. It was nice to be able to finally meet her and ask all of our questions. It was also good for her to see our home and give us some advice on getting our home ready. We are also waiting to get certified in installing a car seat but no word on that yet either. I know all the waiting is for purpose and it will be worth it once we finish this process. So for the time being we are slowly getting things together and enjoying time with the two kids we do have in our home! Especially since these are my last weeks having Ethan to myself before summer gets here and my time will be split with both kiddos being at home. We basically have their room finished just need a few decorative things and some painting. Oh and still needing a crib. But not wanting to rush and finish because it helps keep my mind of how slow this process is taking! So hope I haven't lost all 5 of our followers and maybe we will have some more news soon! 😉 Happy Wednesday!!
